My grandad sadly passed away before i had chance to meet him there's not many of the family that got to see him just the odd couple of his grandchildren so i cant from a personal experince only from what i have been told from family.
He was a true gentlemen family man
My Grandad was a loving Husband of my Nan who has sadly passed away Dad, Grandad, Uncle, Brother & son
He had 14 Children 8 Girls 6 Boys sadly 5 have passed away Christine Florence Jackie Tony (my Dad) & Jean
My dad was 4yrs old when my grandad passed away so i never got chance to meet him
Every one said how lovely you was and how you was a small man
He used to work on the fish market in Grimsby It is there i think he meet my Nan
After my Grandad passed away my nan never remarried and always spoke highly of him no one had a bad word to say
The only way i got to be close with him was by visiting his grave with my dad & sisters
wish i had chance to meet you gone but not forgotten always in our hearts

Hi Grandad
Just writing to say hi and ask how you are
hope you like what i did with the grave its tidy now and all been well the tulips will come up next year i will come and see you again next time i'm over not sure when that will be depends when i get chance well i will go for now speak again soon

A rose once grew

I am a tiny angel
I'm smaller than your thumb
I live in peoples pockets
That's where I have my fun
I don't suppose you've seen me
I'm too tiny to detect
Though i'm with you all the time
I doubt we've ever met
Before I was an angel...
I was a fairy in a flower
God himself hand picked me
And gave me angel power
Now god has many angels
That he trains in angel pools
We become his eyes and ears and hands
We become his special tools
And because god is so busy
With way too much to do
He said that my assignment
Is to keep close watch on you
When he tucked me in your pocket
He blessed you with angel care
Then told me to never leave you
And I vowed always to be there

When angels sense you need them
and angels always do.....
they come unseen from everywhere
to help and comfort you
they hover close beside you
till all your cares are gone
till they can see you're ready

Then some of them may fly away
and take their gentle touch
to other hearts that need
the love of angels very much
but one at least stays with you
as your constant friend and guide
for guardian angels never leave
they're always at your side
